Conversion of surgery & flat into 5 bed home in Muswell Hill

Project Story

This property, formerly a doctor’s surgery and small flat, was expertly converted into a stunning five-bedroom home for a family in Muswell Hill, North West London.

In keeping with the original style of the building, the family desired a contemporary 5 bedroom home that retained much of the charm of the existing building. Creating an abundance of space was key, as well as making the most use of any natural light as possible.

In order to achieve this, the architect re-configured the layout to provide space for an extra bedroom with an en-suite shower and a rear extension was added to create a large contemporary kitchen and dining room, which opened up into the impressive garden.

The renovations were a complete collaboration between the customer and Architect Your Home; they happily worked with her ideas, shaped and developed them into her ideal solution, and produced sketches to bring the scheme to life before taking their project through the planning stage all the way through to completion.
