Enchanting total flat renovation in Chelsea
This flat was in quite a bad state when the customer bought it. The space was not used to its full potential and it was very old-fashioned.
The customer wanted to increase the size of her bedroom and have a decent sized en-suite bathroom. She also wanted to create a home that really represented her personality.
Our architect felt that having a big bathroom at the front of the flat was a waste of space, as well as being too far away from the bedrooms. So he produced a design where the wall between the living room and dining room was demolished to create an open plan kitchen/dining room that opened up to the living room. The big bathroom was then split into a cloakroom, a small washing room and an ensuite for the second bedroom/ study. The wall between the two small bedrooms was removed.
Finally, the two bedrooms were transformed into one and a once sad neglected flat became an enchanting characterful home.
