This beautiful Edwardian home had all the splendour of it’s era but it had lost it’s functional practicality through the years. An enormous conservatory on the back prohibited the living room from having any contact to the garden and due to hot/cold issues it was an unusable space for the majority of the year.
The resultant scheme saw the existing conservatory being removed and a new rear extension built to match the vernacular of the existing imposing house, adding a handsome facade to the rear of the this home. The kitchen dining and living space produced is full of character and personality.
The large square island unit is confident and impressive and the clients own touches of an antique glass splash back and coloured glass pendants give the space a lively and audacious personality.
With the addition of a boot room and rear pantry kitchen the transformation was complete.
