Project Story

This gorgeous period property was in need of an extensive, but sensitive, re-model and update. The existing rooms need to be manipulated in order to reconfigure the interior style, bring the whole house up-to-date and create a splendid space for entertaining. 

Our architect’s design opened up the entire lower ground level into an impressive kitchen, dining and living area with folder doors, allowing seamless access into the rear garden, while the family’s unused coal cellar was cleverly transformed into an essential wine cellar! One of the customers’ requirements was a large spacious bedroom with a walk-in dressing room and en-suite bathroom; the architect took the unusual step of losing two smaller bedrooms to create this fabulous space.

All the renovations were carried out sympathetically, ensuring that the property’s existing features and rooms retained their character, but also intelligently to make sure the new design met its functional requirements.
