Grade II listed barn conversion & renovation in Beaconsfield, as featured by George Clark
A conversion and renovation of a 17th-century barn to bring it up to date and reflect the current family dynamic.
All the original features are retained and in some key areas, the timber frame structure was exposed to create a truly stunning effect.
All new materials that were added, such as the solid timber stair treads and wrought iron railings, were simple and honest, yet elegant and appropriate to the building and in all helped to create a sensational family home.

We live in a 17th-century barn conversion and we wanted to update and alter the layout of our property now our children have left home.
I had seen Architect Your Home at various big home exhibitions and decided to contact them. We had very clear ideas about what we wanted and they were keen to work with our vision. They helped to develop our initial ideas into a truly outstanding home. Completing a renovation project on this scale (we had to move out for eight months) is never going to be without its problems but the architects kept a level head and acted as a huge support when dealing with the builders were proving challenging!
