Rear extension and garage conversion in South London
These customers wanted to create a new heart to their home. The old kitchen was pokey and you couldn’t sit in it, there was no informal dining or family room, and nowhere for the dog.
This extension design has been done by fully utilising the scope of permitted development, extending the back wall outwards by 4m to achieve the much needed extra space. A big picture window frames the view of the garden from the kitchen, while folding/sliding doors open the dining space up to the patio and garden beyond. The original backroom fire-place was retained and a log burner fitted to create a cosy family sitting area.
