Project Story

These customers had just bought their house with the intention to open it up to create a bright airy family home

They could imagine what they wanted and they knew they didn’t want the same bog-standard solution everyone else seemed to have done. They wanted their home to be a reflection of their personalities and requirements and they found Architect Your Home with its collaborative design process and the rest speaks for itself.

The architect designed a simple side return extension to provide space for the kitchen and extended to the rear to create a dining and living area. Large folding sliding doors at the rear allow the garden to flow into the living spaces and a window created in the wall to the front room provided a sense of flow and continuity through the house.
