These customers had lived away in Dublin for many years and, on their return, wanted to create a bespoke home that they could enjoy with their family and, of course, their Russian Blue cats for many years.
The loft was done within the property’s permitted development rights, with a gable end being created on each side. The house was unusually wide and so the rear dormer could not be any wider otherwise it wouldn’t have fitted within the allowable 50 cubic meter volume.
The kitchen extension was designed across the full width of the house with expansive sliding doors which create an impressive visual connection with the garden.
